Go on Girl

If you're female and have a passion for Engineering, are endlessly creative and a great problem solver, then we have the course for you.

At Stansted Airport College, we believe in breaking barriers and building futures. Our Go On Girl campaign is dedicated to empowering girls and young women to pursue exciting and rewarding careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Through a dynamic programme of outreach activities in local primary and secondary schools, we aim to spark curiosity, confidence, and ambition in the next generation of female engineers. For those who join us at the College, we provide a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures talent, builds resilience, and encourages every student to thrive.

If you're a young woman with a passion for Engineering—someone who sees the world as a puzzle waiting to be solved, who loves to create, build, and think outside the box—then we have the course and the community for you.

Stansted Airport College could be your gateway to a career in one of the UK’s fastest-growing and most innovative industries. Employers across the country are actively seeking to increase gender diversity in their engineering teams, and the sector is seeing a rise in women holding senior leadership positions.

“We are problem solvers. We are creative thinkers. We are strong, focused and driven. We are the engineers of tomorrow.”

Take your first step toward an exciting and meaningful career in Engineering—with confidence, with ambition, and with us.
